AKAMAS SAFARI DAILY
Let us take you on an unforgettable journey into the area of Akamas Peninsula.
A day of adventure you will never forget with its magical surroundings, unique fauna and flora and rare variety of birds. You will visit the SEA CAVES just north of Paphos and then to the AVAKAS GORGE, a small river has cut a deep, steep-sided gorge through the rocks. We will make our way through the small riverbed to admire one of Cyprus’ natural wonders. Our next stop will be LARA BAY, the last remaining breeding ground of the famous green turtles of the Mediterranean. Continuing our journey north travelling through the AKAMAS FOREST we reach one of the most picturesque areas of the northern coastline, the BATHS OF APHRODITE. This natural spring is where legend has it Aphrodite bathed with her lover. It is said you retain eternal youth and beauty if you splash the water from the bath on your face. (No guarantees are given!) Continuing on our journey through LATCHI and POLIS, we make our way back through some of the traditional Paphos villages.
